Hey Missouri (and Kansas and Oklahoma) people! There's a new faire this year in Joplin, MO - joplinrenfestival.com/, on April 26 and 27. I'm going to be there contact juggling and spinning poi with the Sidhe Tribe. It'd be awesome to see some other contact jugglers there! (if anyone is in that area. :-) )

    Nope. No one's in the area. No one's there at all.

    Those who do show up won't understand. When they see CJ they won't ask what you're doing, they'll ask why you're doing it. Same thing with poi.

    Sidhe will be seen as just another metalica variation. How many ways can you spell teen-rebellion-against-authority?

    When they want to see your crystals, ask them why. Wait for an answer that's literate.

      Wow, that's interesting every time that I've performed with spheres in Missouri or Oklahoma I've gotten really good response. People have been excited and curious and a great audience.

      Funny how peoples experiences differ.

    i have to admit, inviting some people from Nebraska might be nice as well. Not that i am from there, but with the border and all. :) I truly hope you have a lovely time at the fair and that all goes well.

      Joplin is really far south in Missouri, I'd be surprised if anyone wanted to drive 6 or 7 hours for a Faire! However it's right at the meeting of Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, which is why I mentioned those. :-)

        i was raised in joplin missouri........ouch it sucks...

        but, there are quite a few poi kids there (yet they are stuck in glowstring tricks)

        no cj as far as ive ever seen, and i throw burner style parties there when i come back sometimes.

        go to www.417vibe.com to get some poi kids theres plenty in the area.
